Keeping parents and guardians informed about their children's progress is an essential part of how we work, through consultation sessions and written reports, as well as an open-door policy that ensures parents can reach us at any time.
Even simply talking with your child, asking about their school day, and showing genuine interest in their learning can have the same benefit as hours of private tutoring.

What actually makes the difference
The PISA team found that the style of parental involvement matters a great deal too. Monitoring homework, ensuring children attend school, valuing their efforts, and talking about the idea of going to university are all linked to improved attendance, grades, test results and university readiness.
